1 1/2 pounds bone-in chicken pieces (thighs, legs, wings, and breasts), cut into bite-sized pieces

One large onion cut into 1-inch pieces
Three cloves garlic, minced
One medium-sized carrot peeled and cut into 1-inch pieces

Dak Dori Tang Sauce

1/4 cup Korean chili flakes (gochugaru)
Two tablespoons of soy sauce
Two tablespoons rice wine (or mirin)
Two tablespoons gochujang (Korean chili paste)
One tablespoon sugar
One teaspoon of ground black pepper
Two tablespoons of vegetable oil
Two scallions, thinly sliced
1/4 cup toasted sesame seeds (optional)

How to make Spicy Korean Chicken Stew (Dak Dori Tang)?

 Prepare the Ingredients: Cut the chicken into small pieces, peel and chop the potatoes and carrots, chop the garlic, and cut the onion into pieces.

Make the Sauce: In a bowl, mix the Korean chili flakes, soy sauce, rice wine, gochujang (Korean chili paste), sugar, and black pepper.
